01/03/2024: Great food! The atmosphere was amazing, staff are great! Made space for us when they was busy! Good service, and friendly staff

01/03/2024: I visited Simla with my sister on Saturday 17th February and we were more than impressed! We were greeted by Abdullah, who made our experience incredible and did everything to make sure we had a perfect night. We both love Indian cuisine and we are so happy we found and chose this restaurant to dine in. We felt like we were taken to India! The food tasted absolutely devine, we were introduced to the poppadoms by Abdullah and the dips were the best dips we’ve ever had with poppadoms. We had the Kerahi curry and it was that good we had to order more!! The flavours, wow I was in heaven! The food was served very quickly and to a high standard, I asked for coriander on my naan bread but they accidentally forgot and without me even asking Abdullah noticed and rectified this straight away, you will be looked after very well. And to top it all off, the restaurant has the most beautiful ambience.. the artwork and music set the scene, I was in awe. Abdullah even took the time to tell us about the history of the restaurant. A truly beautiful restaurant and warm team! I hope Simla knows how lucky they are to have Abdullah, a truly amazing person. Luckily, we were one of the first customers so we were able to get a table before it got busy. You really are missing out if you don’t try this restaurant and we will definitely be going back to visit. Thank you for an amazing experience Abdullah and Simla!

20/04/2024: Amazing service amazing food and amaaaaazing drinks! I got the chicken quesodilla and nachos. Recomend:) They also have a great sortiment of cocktails!

02/04/2024: We wanted a special restaurant to celebrate our Son's new job. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a great experience. The staff are so welcoming. The food was amazing, and the service was fabulous. Thank you to all at Vita Bella for making our celebration amazing. It was our first visit, but will definitely not be our last!

23/03/2024: We visited Vita Bella for lunch for the first time today to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary and 85th birthday. The whole experience was exceptional from the moment we arrived and were welcomed by the owner. The restaurant is beautifully presented and clean. The food was delicious, with generous portions and without exception, every member of staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for making it a celebration to remember for our parents. We are looking forward to returning.

25/04/2024: Highly recommended! Fantastic seafood, superfriendly staff, the oysters ar huge, scallops superb, langostines the best I had and the servings of the mussels are enormous. If I lived in Oban this would be my lunchhut 👍

06/03/2024: We were given a voucher as a wedding present which expired in Sept 2023. We would have used it in the one year timeframe but anyone else with a toddler in nursery will know about having to cancel plans due to illness. Add to that moving house while being pregnant again meant we were 2 weeks late honouring our voucher. To our surprise Dakota refused to honour the voucher despite knowing the circumstances. We were a bit put out that they weren’t at all apologetic either. What’s it to them if they already have the money. Insult to injury was when we got a call from them days later and thought they had changed their mind. No, they just phoned to say they still wouldn’t honour it! Honestly, how mean spirited is that?!

03/03/2024: So disappointing. Visited as a birthday celebration with family, Service was very slow. This was to be expected as it was a busy Friday with big parties attending. Staff, as always were lovely and pleasant but service slower than usual. Food has a new menu and this is where it was so disappointing. The new menu has too much fish, the vegetable sides weren’t great and the mashed potato tasted vile. Unsure if it was truffle in it but was unpleasant. My son who had the Gnocchi said it was pretty greasy and appeared deep fried . He didn’t ask for the vegetarian menu but wished he had, We have visited the Grill on many occasions but this was really poor. The new menu is unappealing. as I mentioned, if you are a fish lover you’ll do well but if not it’s limited, unless you like Steak. We have to say it’s unlikely we’ll eat in the Grill again till menu changes as this was by far, the worst meal we have had for a few years in year. We’ll still visit Jacks Bar as cocktails are fab but the new menu has taken the shine off our dining out experience.

03/04/2024: The food was great and our waitress Charity, was very friendly and efficient. We were seated straight away and it took less than an hour to eat

28/04/2024: Unfortunately, the food fell far short of expectations. My wife and I dined before heading to a show at the Hazlitt Theatre. We ordered the chateaubriand to share, which I have to say was very nice. But that was the only positive. The "triple-cooked chips" were undercooked and rock-solid on the inside. The plum tomato was also hard, and had no flavour at all. The pea shoots didn’t arrive, instead a salad with what I believe was mint sauce on the top (strange). As a side dish we ordered the buttered spinach. After ordering our food, we saw what we assume was the chefs assistant coming back into the restaurant hiding a bag of spinach under his arm. Which he had obviously just bought from the shop nearby. This also had no flavour, and no butter had been added. Considering the lacklustre quality of the food, the price tag felt particularly unreasonable. There are far better options available in the area that offer better value for your money. While I wouldn't recommend this restaurant based on my experience, there's always a chance it was an off night. However, with so many other choices around, I won't be rushing back to find out.

26/04/2024: What a beautiful place to be! I was mesmerised by the decor! What a fab looking restaurant I’ve never seen anything like it! The service was impeccable thank you (Lee!) and the food was well presented and was the best I’ve had in a long time! Overall experience was simply outstanding!! Highly recommend to anyone, I’ll definitely be coming again. Thank you 😊

17/03/2024: Gluten Free - This is the place for you!! Beef, chicken, lamb, prawns, pita bread and even dessert option - all available GF!! Our waiter Deniz was fantastic. Portions were large. The view - Pulteney Bridge right or the front door. Highly recommend!

10/05/2024: Another lovely lunch at The Fox and always a very friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. We love the Sunday roasts and also the home made pies, we even took two more home, delicious. Thank you all at The Fox

06/03/2024: What a great place and exceptional value for money The surroundings both inside and out are above what you pay for your excellent pizza's and sides All the staff were friendly and worked as a team to give great customer service Me and my grandson were made to feel so welcomed I cant recommend the chain enough it's a shame its not around the country because it would put so called leading chains to shame

05/03/2024: Lovely fast service, great pizza. The frozen margaritas were delicious! Stephan was really friendly and everything was so much fun. Would recommend.
